Madelyn Minter-Barnes is the heart behind Confidence Lashes and Beauty, Confidence Academy, and Confidence Co Supplies. With a deep passion for elevating industry standards, Maddy built this business from the ground up to create a space where beauty professionals and clients alike feel supported, empowered, and seen. As a multi-award-nominated salon owner and accredited educator, she’s dedicated to delivering not just flawless results, but meaningful experiences—through training, services, and products. Confidence and Co is led by Madelyn, the owner and founder of Confidence Lashes and Beauty & Confidence Academy. Showing succesful entrepenuership and huge growth in the last 12 months, from working at home to owning two locations, a team of 5 lash artists and 1 administration.

Madelyn is currently a highly respected trainer with over 5 years of industry experience. Partnered with one of the largest eyelash extension companies Envolash. Madelyn ensures that only the very best products are used through out her lash salon and in the training academy.

We offer structured courses to help you pursue your dreams and ongoing support for the lifetime of your career.

Madelyn is a NALA (National Association of Lash Artists) educator, one of only a handful in Australia, and the second in Victoria, Australia. A huge acheivement that is profoundly respected. You know that the education offered at Confidence Academy is one of the most comprehensive in the country. 

With both our online courses, in person courses and our new training academy location in Traralgon, Victoria recently becoming available, you will be able to aquire new knowledge to add to your repetoire to help you become an accomplished and successful lash technician. Our team is close knit and boisterous. You know you will walk into a positive experience every time, we are devoted to ensuring that all of our students receive the highest education and succeed as highly competitive in the industry.

Confidence Academy boasts the FIRST Australian facilities set up to be a complete curriculm with accessible facilities for all students. The location is open and has a study nook, a bookable practicle room to help students practise aswell as life time access and support. Salon experience and work place experience is available to assist in the transition into a work place or self employment with confidence.
